Scenario for offline activation
You have purchased a license, it has been registered to your ParagonBox account, and now you would like to activate it on a device without Internet connection.

- Visit your “MyParagon” login page at and enter your login credentials. You can also sign in using Facebook, Google or Twitter accounts. Having logged in, you will see the “My products” section, which shows your registered software products and used or unused licenses.

Step 1
1. Open the program. A message will appear in the bottom left corner of the window, with a request to activate the software.
2. If you haven’t purchased our software, pressing “Buy” will redirect you to our shop (use this link on a device with an Internet connection).
If you have already purchased the license – press “Activate…”
Step 2: offline activation
1. Enter your ParagonBox account’s credentials and press Sign in. (or enter anything like xxx@xxx.xxx to proceed)
2. If you have no Internet connection, you should see the following:
3. On the dialog that pops up, place the PC GUID: value in your clipboard.
4. On the device with Internet connection, please login to your account at ParagonBox and choose the “Get License File” button:
5. Once there, you should see the following:
6. For the “PC ID” paste the value from your clipboard (MAC-address)
7. Your “Serial number” should be selectable from the drop-down menu. If you don’t see the desired licence, please make sure it’s not already activated. If you want to transfer you license, please use “Revoke” feature.
8. Click the “Export license file” button.
9. It should download a “license.xml” file.
10. Navigate back to the software and click the “Import license” button, supplying the “license.xml” file.
Step 3 – successful offline activation
After pressing OK, you should be able to use your activated software.

Q: What is PC-ID? Should I copy the numbers only?
A: It’s really just your MAC address with the prefix “MAC-“. You should paste the value including MAC- in it, it should look like MAC-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX
Q: When creating a lecense file in ParagonBox account I see checkmarks under “License type”: “Get local application license” and “Get recovery environment license”. What is recovery environment license and should I use it when creating an offline license for NTFS for Mac by Paragon Software?

A: Don’t worry about “License type” – these are the settings for offline activation of Hard Disk Manager.
Q: I want to use the license on my new computer. Can I do that or should I purchase another license?
A: If you already have an activated license and you want to move it to another device, use “Revoke” feature.
